Healthy Creations is a woman owned business, founded in San Diego in 2007. The Take-and-Make meal kit program was designed to enable families to bring back the sit-down home cooked meal without the time consuming tasks of menu selection, shopping, preparing, measuring, slicing, dicing etc.

In 2013, following the proliferation of large, high volume, mass producing meal kit companies, Healthy Creations, under the ownership of Chef Julie Brailsford refocused on providing a personalized, custom service.

Our meals are individually hand assembled at our own licensed commercial kitchen facility in Vista, CA.

About the Chef

Julie Brailsford

Julie Brailsford brings over 25 years experience as a chef, caterer and nutritional consultant specializing in health oriented, Continental, Asian, and vegetarian cuisine.

Julie raised two children and knows from personal experience the challenges of providing healthy family meals that are tasty and economical. She also personally experiences the health benefits of an organic and gluten-free diet.

Julie graduated from culinary school at Palomar College and attended UCLA. She brings a lifetime commitment to healthy living and eating. Julie, her husband, and two West Highland Terriers live in North County San Diego.
